Westport, CT – Azelis Americas, LLC has hired Cristina Cortes as Sales Director Care Division, Mexico, to lead the Azelis Americas CARE business in Mexico. Azelis closed on its acquisition of Megafarma, the premier pharmaceutical and food ingredient distributor in Mexico, in January 2020, establishing Azelis’ presence into the Latin American and providing a foundation for the growth of additional businesses in Latin America. Based in Mexico City, Cortes will be tasked with building out the CARE sales team and related functions in Mexico.

Since 2000, at various times, she was responsible for different business units in México including the Pharmaceutical , Personal Care, Home Care, Perfumery & Performance, Rare Earths and Composite Materials businesses.
