This Basic Dry Shampoo with Agenaflo OS 9051 formulation can be used as an efficient base for aerosol dry shampoo concentrates together with around 70% propellant. The formulation can be further optimized with the addition of hair active components.

The formulation features Agenaflo OS 9051 which is a lipophilic starch. This non-GMO aluminum octenyl succinic modified starch is used as a softening/texturing agent. This aesthetic enhancer provides unique feel benefits as granular starch. As a hydrophobically modified corn starch, it acts as a rheology modifier.

Procedure for Basic Dry Shampoo with Agenaflo OS 9051

  1. Premix phase A until it is fully homogenous.
  2. Add ingredients of phase B separately and add the Agenaflo OS 9051 during mixing.
  3. Mix until uniform.
