Curl’istic’ Textured Hair Styling is a uniquely textured hair styling product.
The formulation features Versagel MD 500 which is a patented gelled synthetic hydrocarbon ideal for delivering pigments and other solid materials or for any application that needs quick set-up and fast-drying anhydrous systems. It improves emulsion stability and is transfer resistant. This product is visually appealing, odourless, and does not discolour with aging. It is easier to handle and formulate compared to gels that use metal stearates or fumed silica. Furthermore, Versagel MD 500 is hydrophobic and thermally reversible and without syneresis (oil bleeding). It can also provide fragrance retention in skin care products.

Procedure for Curl’istic’ Textured Hair Styling
- Premix Phase A.
- Premix Phase B.
- Add Phase B to Phase A and mix until homogeneous.
- Add Phase C and mix until homogeneous.
