Procedure for Facial Butter

  1. From Phase A, heat the vegetable oil to approximately 70°C. Then add the olus oil and stir until melted.
  2. Add the hydrogenated vegetable oil and maintain the temperature at 60°C until a clear oil is observed.
  3. Begin to cool and then add the betaine and sunflower oil.
  4. Homogenize at 35°C
  5. Add Phase B ingredients in increments to Phase A under slow mixing with a paddle stirrer.
