Procedure for Gentle Cleanser
- Add Phase A ingredients in the order listed, one at a time using Connblade type mixing blade. Sprinkle the Magnesium Aluminum Silicate. Increase speed to very high as necessary to keep the bulk moving. This is a very thick phase.
- Once Phase A looks thick and uniform, mix Phase B ingredients together until fully dispersed and then add to Phase A. Continue mixing at a very high speed for 10 minutes or a little more until uniformly dispersed.
- Switch to an appropriate size side-sweep type blade, which almost touches the wall of the beaker. Keep mixing at a very low speed (less than 100 for 1 kg batch) once bulk looks uniform and then add Phase C ingredients one at a time. Particularly, add Cocamidopropyl Betaine using pipette on the beaker sidewall and also squirting in the centre. Continue mixing at a very slow speed.
- Keep mixing at 50 RPM for additional 15 minutes until batch looks uniform. Add the Citric Acid solution as required to achieve a pH of 6.0 ± 0.5. Keep mixing for additional 10 minutes.
