This formulation delivers shine and medium hold with no sign of residue. It is suitable for all lengths in either wet or dry application.

Procedure for Phytocurl Defining Gel
- Phase A: Add water into a beaker and start vigorous stirring preferable with a dissolve blade. In a separate container, premix Styleze™ CSP Polymer and Natrosol™ 250 HR PC HEC together and then add it into the main beaker. Stir until lump free. Add NaOH to bring the mixture to pH 9-10. Stir further 20 minutes until you get a smooth solution.
- Phase B: In a separate beaker, add water, sorbitol, and (Benzyl Alcohol (and) Aqua (and) Sodium Benzoate (and) Potassium Sorbate), and then start stirring using anchor stirrer for 3 minutes. Add Styleze™ ES-1 Polymer into the solution, disperse for 5 minutes, then add citric acid. Stir until fully solubilized (10 minutes).
- Phase C: In a separate container, premix PEG-40 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, fragrance, and water together. Mix until uniform and clear. Add Phase B into Phase A, and then add Phase C into Phase A. Mix further until homogenous. Adjust pH if needed.
