AGENAFLO OS 9051 is a LIPOPHILIC STARCH. This non-GMO aluminum octenyl succinic modified starch is used as a softening/texturing agent. This aesthetic enhancer provides unique feel benefits as a granular starch. As a hydrophobically modified corn starch, it acts as a rheology modifier.
AGENAFLO OS 9051 has very high oil and moisture absorbency power and an excellent emulsifying effect (emulsifier), so it can improve emulsion stability which is beneficial for achieving long-lasting wear and increased coverage. AGENAFLO OS 9051 reduces tackiness and greasiness, achieves easy glide, pleasant skin feel and velvety appearance, and absorbs excess moisture and sebum without whitening. Used in lotions, creams & sunscreens, deodorant & mineral cosmetics. It is also targeted at Anhydrous formulations and is a cost-effective option for Dry Shampoo Aerosols.
