AGENAJEL 20.306 is a pregelatinized distarch phosphate based on non-GMO waxy corn. It shows high viscosity and good stability against heat and acid conditions. It is cold water soluble. Appearance: white fine powder. Odor, taste: specific, pure. Dispersions of this ingredient yield transparent, smooth and short-textured pastes. They will not gelatinize even in case of an extended storage period and there will be no syneresis.due to its features, it is perfectly suitable as a thickening and binding agent and is particularly recommended for all food products (acid or neutral) manufactured in a ‘cold process’. To avoid the formation of lumps, all dry ingredients of a food product should be mixed with AGENAJEL 20.306 and then be solved in water.
AGENAJEL 20.306 is an instant (= cold water swelling) modified waxy corn starch. AGENAJEL 20.306 features as a natural rheology modifier and thickener according to COSMOS-standard. It is used as a natural rheology modifier in personal care emulsions and provides a smooth and creamy texture.
