BENTONE LUXE WO is a non-animal origin rheological additive for cosmetics and toiletries. BENTONE® LUXE WO provides emulsification and rheological properties for silicone free water-in-oil systems. It creates extremely stable emulsions with a very light texture. Emulsion containing this material apply easily without leaving a greasy film on the skin. This light texture allows for high oil concentrations that can be used for dry, damaged skin, yet feels light and silky for even oily skin types. This unique ability to deliver high loads of oil with a dry elegant skin feel makes this material ideal for all skin types.

BENTONE LUXE WO can be used in colour cosmetics or sunscreens to disperse and suspend pigments and actives.

BENTONE LUXE WO is a high viscosity, shear-thinning product. To ensure good homogeneous mixing is achieved, care must be taken to overcome the large viscosity differential existing between the BENTONE LUXE WO and other lower viscosity components. It should be added to the oil phase of the system under homogenization to ensure proper dispersion. Mix until homogeneous before adding the other ingredients.
