BergaSoft SCG 22 is a readily biodegradable, non-ethoxylated and sulphate-free modern surfactant. It is simple to process and easy to thicken. The ideal pH for BergaSoft SCG 22 is above 6 to allow transparency and best performance.

As a main surfactant, this material is the ideal basis for sulphate-free formulations. It creates a creamy foam and leaves a pleasantly soft skin feel. As a co-surfactant, it improves the mildness of the entire formulation. It synergizes with other products such as lauric and myristic acids and/or cocoamidopropyl betaine and improves both foam quality and structure.

Whether used as the main or co-surfactant, this material significantly rinse-off characteristics. It help to create more environmental friendly formulations (EO and sulphate-free) without compromising on the cleansing properties of the final product.
