Properties
BIOTOUCH DCC is an off-white, coated granulate, that is easily soluble in water under application conditions.
Activity
BIOTOUCH DCC contains a declared minimum activity of 25 000 NCU/g. The neutral cellulase activity is determined on CMC substrate at 50ºC and pH 7.0. A detailed description of the method (B-033) is available on request.
Application
BIOTOUCH DCC is a granulated cellulase enzyme product, which has been specially developed for improving cleaning effect in detergent powders. Biotouch DCC keeps garments looking attractive for longer by acting for whiteness. The product is efficient in:
- anti-greying
- anti-repositioning
- removal of pigment dirt
The preferred process conditions for the product are:
- pH of washing water 6 – 10
- Temperature 30 – 70ºC (86 – 158ºF)
- Enzyme dosage 0.1 – 0.4 % on the weight of detergent
The recommended dosage will vary according to detergent formulations and washing conditions and the desired level of performance should be decided upon experimental results.
