ColaFax 3397 is a long chain, aliphatic phosphate ester designed for a variety of formulations including metalworking fluid applications. It provides excellent extreme pressure and lubricity characteristics as well as emulsification and rust protection properties for both ferrous and nonferrous metallurgies. As supplied, Cola®Fax 3397 is soluble in paraffinic and naphthenic oil. It is soluble in water by pH adjustment or by the incorporation of water-soluble co-surfactants.
