ColaMate LA-40 UP is a very light-coloured, mild sulfosuccinate surfactant derived from natural lauryl alcohol. Cola®Mate LA-40 is predominantly vegetable-derived due to the vegetable origin of the lauryl alcohol used in the product. This surfactant is sulfate-free, ethoxylate-free, and 1,4-dioxane-free – making it ideal for natural-based, sulfate-free formulations. It is unpreserved.

This surfactant provides a very dense, voluminous foam when used to formulate personal cleansers, is extremely mild to the eyes, and useful in sensitive skin cleansers. Unlike other sulfosuccinates, it provides a good viscosity response when formulated with other anionics. Despite its high Krafft point, ColaMate LA-40 UP can be used to formulate clear products.

ColaMate LA-40 UP is “Derived Natural” with a Natural Origin Index of 0.82 in accordance with ISO 16128 guideline. It is readily biodegradable.
