- It is a mixture of monoacylgcerols, mostly monosteroylglycerol, together with quantities of di-and triacylglycerols in these proportions: 40-55% of monoacylglycerols, 30-45% of diacylglcerols, and 5-15% of triacylglycerols.
- It is supplied as waxy mass or greasy powder, flakes or beads.
