Product Categories: Emollient, EsterLipex Shea W a solid shea butter wax ester that provides a dry and velvety skin feel and is optimized for colour cosmetics and anhydrous skin care formulations. Lipex Shea W™ incorporates the skin care benefits associated with shea butter with they dry skin feel of esters. It shows a better emolliency and softer skin feel compared to traditional esters. Being a wax ester, Lipex Shea W has a simple crystallization and good compatibility with waxes used in anhydrous and stick formulations.
It is designed for use i skin care emulsions as well as anhydrous balms and ointments. It is especially suited for facial care and eye care products due to its low spreadability. It can also be used in hair conditioners, hair masks and balms as well as anhydrous balms and body butters.
This product should be stored in dark, dry and odor free conditions. The recommended storage temperature is 15°C – 20°C or below.
