Product Category: EsterLipex Shea WM is a liquid shea butter wax ester that is low spreading and improves the sensory profile of anhydrous and emulsion formulations, delivering lower occlusivity and reduced tackiness Lipex Shea WM™ combines the skin care benefits of shea butter with the easy to use and good skin feel of a liquid wax ester. It contains about 7% of the shea butter triterpene esters that are known for their skin caring properties. This product s a viscous liquid and yellow in colour. It melts at 20°C – 22°C.
This product should be stored in dark, dry and odour free conditions. The recommended storage temperature is 15°C – 20°C or below. When stored in unopened original container according to the recommended storage conditions, the recommended maximum storage time is two years from the production date. Within this time, this product fulfills the shelf life specifications.
Applications for Lipex Shea WM
- It is suitable for all types of skin care creams, lotions as well as ingredient in anhydrous products such as balms and body butters.
- It can be formulated into skin cleansing products such as facial cleansers and make-up removers.
- It is also an ideal emollient for colour cosmetics due to its good compatibility with other emollients and waxes.
