ROZONE™ 2000 biocide is a liquid mildewcide for the protection of paint films and coatings. It is a high-performance preservative against the growth of surface moulds which also displays excellent activity against algae and bacteria. ROZONE 2000 has a very low water solubility.
This product has high resistance to leaching even on weathered surface and therefore, provides long-term protection. It has been developed to fulfill many eco-toxicological demands. It is not persistent in the environment but can be dissipated by chemical or biological means.
ROZONE 2000 is clearly miscible with any proportion with organic solvents such as alcohols, ketones, and aromatics. It is miscible with water with the formation of a milky emulsion.
Applications for ROZONE 2000
ROZONE 2000 is an effective microbicide for the use in paints and coatings which are applied on wood or on mineral surfaces. It shows very broad and balanced spectrum of activity against mould and algae in the field of applications. Therefore, it is suitable to be used as the sole protective agent. It can also be combined with other fungicides or algicides to improve their spectrum of activity.
