The dimethicone portion of the copolyol can deliver remarkable sensory qualities to skin care formulations. The polyether component can contribute to emulsification, differential solubility and compatibility as well as provide ease of during processing. These two components of the molecular structure, when modified independently, can produce products with a wide range of foaming, solubility, emulsification and dispersing properties as well as the ability to provide excellent wetting benefits.
Features & Benefits of Silsoft 860
The dimethicone component of this product can provide an excellent after-feel on the skin when used in hydroalcoholic hand sanitizing gels and hand sanitizing soaps, which can often leave the skin feeling dry and irritated after repeated use. The polyether portion of the Silsoft 860 condition agent can provide excellent compatibility, solubility and clarity without having a negative impact on foam generation or quality.
