Product Category: SiliconeTego®Polish Additiv EZ is a non-ionic silicone oil emulsion and therefore compatible with nearly all additives and emulsions including non-ionic, anionic and cationic systems. This O/W silicone oil emulsion is very stable and dilutable in almost every ratio with water. It is possible to add Tego®Polish Additiv EZ during the formulation process or post-process, into a prepared polish improving the polishing effect and delivering an exceptionally high gloss and water repellency. Tego Polish Additiv EZ consists of a highly viscous silicone oil and therefore you can use it as “wax component” instead of solid wax into shoe polish liquids. It is also possible to make blends out of two or more silicone emulsions to create polishes with varying levels of gloss, depth of color and water repellency. The emulsion is bacteria-protected. The protection is sufficient for the emulsions as supplied, but might not be sufficient for dilutions and mixtures with other additives. Therefore the addition of commonly used preservatives is recommended.
