Product Categories: Emulsifier, SiliconeTego®Polish Additiv LFC is an 85 % active silicone based, non-ionic emulsifier for oil-in-water emulsions. Due to its self-emulsifying ability manufacturing of “emulsifier-free” O/W emulsions with excellent care properties is possible. Tego®Polish Additiv LFC acts in O/W systems as an emulsifier and active care ingredient simultaneously. It is easy to handle and is ideal for sprayable emulsions. The O/W emulsion of Tego®Polish Additiv LFC can be used as a care formulation for leather and furniture on its own but preferentially blended / formulated with wax-, silicone oil- and paraffin oil- emulsions. Wax and silicone resins are suitable additives to improve the hydrophobic effect of the formulation. Surfaces, especially leather, treated with Tego®Polish Additiv LFC exhibit a silky shine, soft and smooth feeling without tackiness.
