Product Categories: Emulsifier, Wetting AgentTegopren®7008 is a 100% active alkyl and polyether modified siloxane. An excellent emulsifier for the formulation of W/O pastes and emulsions. In addition to a high emulsion stabilizing potential, Tegopren®7008 has typical silicone properties like gloss, care and hydrophobic character. Despite of the high refraction index the product is clear and able to form clear gels. In W/O emulsions and gels the Tegopren®7008 is dual functional: emulsifier and care agent. Liquid at room temperature and belonging to the so-called “silicone tensides” with good wetting behavior.
