TOMADOL® 91-6 is a nonionic alcohol ethoxylate surfactant that is ideal for hard surface cleaner formulations. TOMADOL 91-6 can be used as a single surfactant system given its mid-range HLB and its shorter surfactant length provides great detergency for hard surface cleaners and degreasers. It is effective across the broad pH range and is readily biodegradable.

Evonik produces a wide variety of nonionic surfactants. The TOMADOL ethoxylates include both synthetic and plant-derived alcohols and vary in both hydrophobe and ethylene oxide chain lengths, to yield a wide range of physical and surfactant properties. They are excellent wetting agents, emulsifiers, and detergents and are moderate foamers.
