VARONIC®T 202 SR is a low ethoxylated tallow amine for use as a co-emulsifier, wetting agent, and synergistic thickening agent. Dye transfer inhibitor. VARONIC T 202 SR provides alkalinity to the formulation. Corrosion inhibitor. Hard water tolerance. Works well in acidic and alkaline formulas.
The VARONIC®T series ethoxylates are used in a wide variety of applications, many of which exploit their behaviour as surface active agents. Industries using these products include: household and IandI cleaners, textile, agriculture, leather, metal working, paint, resin and petroleum. Some of the applications for the VARONIC®T series include: oil/water emulsifiers, dye levelling, surface tension reduction to improve spreading and wetting action, anticorrosive, latex viscosity modification, dispersing agents and chemical intermediates.
Acid thickener. Excellent co-emulsifier and wetting agent. Dye transfer inhibitor. Provides alkalinity to the formulation. Corrosion inhibitor. Hard water tolerance. Works well in acidic and alkaline formulas. Biodegradable.
Highly effective thickening power at low levels (1% to 2%). Excellent thickener for hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid and organic acids. Good foaming properties. Compatible with anionic, cationic, and non-ionic surfactants. Not compatible with nitric acid solutions. Not stable in alkaline formulations.
