Versagel CC is a clear solid gel designed for any gel candle application including those where the gel is poured over insoluble embeds, such as pieces of wax. Like other gels in the Versagel® C series, the Versagel® CC gel is based on mineral oil and a patented block copolymer technology. In addition to its crystal clarity, this product also provides a lower pour temperature and easier processing. Since Versagel CC can be poured at a lower temperature than other gels, the melting of wax embeds can be minimized or eliminated.

Versagel CC is extremely stable and compatible with most ingredients used in candle applications. It exhibits excellent thermal and UV stability and is an easier handling candle gel with lower melt temperatures.

With an infinite number of customized rheological properties available, these Versagel products are clear, colourless, hydrophobic, thermally reversible, and without syneresis.

Versagel products are available in multiple viscosity ranges and are compatible with many common cosmetic ingredients. They are visually appealing, odourless, and do not discolour with age. They are easier and safer to formulate than gels that use metal stearates or fumed silica and they provide fragrance retention in skincare products and furnish waterproofing properties to sunscreen products.
